Growing up in Canada, I started playing hockey at age 3, so stepping away from the sport at age 29 and determining what I would do next wasn't easy. I've always had a passion for woodworking and home improvement projects. Shortly after my hockey career ended, a friend asked me to make her a bed swing. 

Along with my passion for woodworking and my wife's background in sales and marketing, Twenty Eight Eleven was born. I wore number twenty eight when I played junior hockey in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and I wore number eleven throughout my professional career. Each of our swing styles is named after an area code that was significant in my hockey career. 

I pride myself on my strong work ethic and honesty, and I enjoy working with our customers to make their outdoor living space dreams a reality. I make all of our swings in our workshop and my wife helps with marketing. We love living in Greenville with our eight month old son and three rescue dogs and look forward to building a bed swing for you and your family!
